Nano Photocatalyst Coating & Commercial TVOC Neutralizers

Photocatalytic coatings deposit an optically transparent 5–10nm anatase nano-TiO₂ film that continuously mineralizes airborne formaldehyde, TVOC, and surface bacteria under standard indoor LED or daylight illumination. This 5-Product line combines permanent catalytic wall shields — including an Ag⁺ silver-ion dark-active grade for healthcare and hospitality — with rapid-acting TVOC chelators engineered for fresh latex paint, SBR-backed commercial carpets, and large-scale pre-handover engineering.

02How it works

The chemistry behind the line.

Under 400–550nm visible light or UV light, nano-TiO₂ excites electron-hole pairs that generate hydroxyl radicals (•OH) and superoxide anions (O₂⁻), oxidizing volatile organic compounds into harmless CO₂ and H₂O without consuming the catalyst film. Chelated 150 ppm Ag⁺ silver ions provide 24-hour dark-phase antibacterial and mold inhibition, while β-cyclodextrin and plant-extract TVOC neutralizers deliver immediate 24–48h knockdown of alkanes, esters, styrene, and 4-PCH.

Visible-light photocatalysis: indoor light excites the TiO₂ film, which forms hydroxyl radicals (•OH) at the surface; they oxidise formaldehyde and VOCs to CO₂ and water while the catalyst itself is not consumed.

Particle size on a log scale. Particles far smaller than the wavelength of visible light (400–700 nm) scatter very little of it, which is why a 5–10 nm sol dries to a transparent film instead of a white haze.

01How long does a nano-TiO₂ photocatalyst coating remain active?

Because titanium dioxide acts as a heterogeneous catalyst rather than a consumable reactant, an undisturbed 5–10nm TiO₂ film applied via 0.5mm HVLP atomization remains active for years as long as the wall or ceiling is not repainted or abraded.

02Does your photocatalyst spray work under indoor LED lighting without direct sunlight?

Yes. Our visible-light-doped anatase TiO₂ sol activates under standard 400–550nm indoor LED and fluorescent fixtures. For windowless corridors, wardrobes, or 24/7 clinical sanitation, specify Silver-Ion (Ag⁺) Antibacterial Photocatalyst Spray.

03Which formulation targets new commercial carpet smell (4-PCH) and fresh latex paint?

Carpet & Latex Paint VOC Neutralizer specifically encapsulates and oxidizes 4-phenylcyclohexene (4-PCH) from SBR carpet backing as well as residual acrylic and ester monomers from architectural wall coatings.
