Copper & Aluminum Fin Safe
Formulated at neutral pH 7.0 with benzotriazole-free metal passivators—zero pitting on hydrophilic blue/gold fins.
01 / 05 · Studio PackshotNon-Corrosive Aluminum Fin & Duct Formula
botouseneco HVAC Duct & Coil Disinfectant Deodorizer is a non-corrosive commercial mechanical-hygiene formulation designed for central AHU evaporator coils, fan-coil units (FCUs), condensate drain pans, and supply ducts. Applied via ULV duct fogging or low-pressure coil spraying at 15–25 ml/m², it eliminates microbial volatile organic compounds (MVOCs, 'dirty sock syndrome') without corroding aluminum fins or copper tubing.

01Overview
Stop central air conditioning systems from re-contaminating freshly remediated commercial floors.
Even after walls and furniture are treated, turning on a commercial building's central HVAC or hotel fan-coil unit often fills the room with a damp, musty 'dirty sock' odor caused by microbial volatile organic compounds (MVOCs like geosmin and 2-methylisoborneol) thriving on wet evaporator fins and condensate pans. Worse, acidic or chlorine-based cleaners pit delicate hydrophilic aluminum fins. botouseneco HVAC Duct & Coil Disinfectant Deodorizer combines neutral polymeric biguanide/quaternary sanitizers with botanical MVOC neutralizers and corrosion inhibitors certified safe for copper and coated aluminum.
Formulated at neutral pH 7.0 with benzotriazole-free metal passivators—zero pitting on hydrophilic blue/gold fins.
Eliminates the microbial metabolic byproducts (geosmin, short-chain fatty acids) emitted during heat-pump cycling.
Condensate water formed during normal cooling operation naturally flushes loosened residue down the drain line.
Quarterly HVAC maintenance consumption creates predictable repeat drum orders for B2B distributors.
Reaction mechanism
Cationic antimicrobial polymers penetrate and lift mucopolysaccharide biofilm matrices on wet evaporator fins, eliminating odor-producing bacteria and fungi, while organic chelation complexes neutralize airborne geosmin and organic acids without etching metal heat-exchange surfaces.

03Application
Clean gross dust first, then spray fins and fog supply plenums.
Vacuum or brush loose particulate from return filters and coil faces. Spray HVAC Duct & Coil Disinfectant Deodorizer evenly across the aluminum fin pack so condensate flush carries dissolved biofilm into the drain pan, then ULV-fog the supply duct.
Record initial HCHO/TVOC readings (mg/m³), room temperature (°C), relative humidity (% RH), and closure window (1h vs. 12h).
Identify whether off-gassing stems from urea-formaldehyde MDF/particleboard, phenolic plywood, solvent lacquers, or textile backings.
Calculate total surface area (m²) of panels, walls, and ceilings to determine exact liquid volume (ml/m²) and nozzle gauge (0.5mm–1.0mm).
Confirm sample evaluation batch, TDS/MSDS export documentation, and commercial drum sizing (1L / 5L / 20L / 25L / 200L).

08Questions
For routine odor and biofilm maintenance on lightly soiled coils, no water rinse is required—normal cooling condensate flushes the coil automatically. For heavily greased coils, pre-clean with a coil degreaser first, then apply HVAC Duct & Coil Disinfectant Deodorizer as the leave-on deodorizing shield.
